SafeRacks™ LLC & Smart Space Warranty
SafeRacks warrants the overhead garage storage system from manufacture’s defects and defects from the product’s workmanship for the lifetime of the product. The Lifetime Limited Warranty applies only to the original Purchaser. The original Purchaser must provide the original sales receipt and proof of purchase with any request for warranty claims. During the warranty period, SafeRacks will repair or replace any products that fails to perform to SafeRacks specifications. Such repair or replacement shall be determined by SafeRacks and shall be limited to necessary adjustments or parts replacement and does not include reinstallation at the installation site. Reinstallation is the responsibility of the original Purchaser. At the option of SafeRacks, the original purchaser price of the product may be refunded to the original Purchaser for full and complete compensation of defect. Please contact the SafeRacks Dealer with whom the original purchase was made. Taxes, shipping and handling charges are to be paid by the Dealer.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty applies to the original Purchaser only. No coverage is provided if the product is transferred to another area or to another structure. The original Purchaser must provide proof of purchase and the original receipt for the coverage to be in effect. The warranty will be in effect only when the storage unit is properly installed by the original Purchaser or licensed SafeRacks dealer and the defect is not as a result of improper or abusive treatment or improper installation. Coverage is not provided for discolorations, corrosion, rust, or physical damage. Damage is not covered if storage loads are not evenly dispersed or the maximum load capacity exceeds 600 pounds for 8’ x 4’ & 8’ x 3’ units, 450 pounds for 8’ x 2’, 6’ x 4’, 6’ x3’, 250 pounds for 4’ x 4’ , 4’ x 3’ , or 4’ x 2’ units. If any other parts (not provided by the SafeRacks manufacturer) are used in conjunction with the SafeRacks product the warranty will be void.

The warranty will not be in effect should installation not adhere to the published Installation Instructions provided with each SafeRacks storage unit. The warranty does not provide coverage if product malfunction due to shipping damage, product modification, improper installation, improper maintenance, effects from being contacted with a vehicle or any of it’s parts, or claims made outside the warranty period. No other warranties are expressed or implied for the storage product. In the absence if an implied warranty period under the rules of law, seven years shall be the terms of the implied warranty. Receipt of purchase of product from an approved dealer must be presented for the warranty to be in effect. SafeRacks makes no other warranties under the terms of the Limited Warranty and the option of repair or replacement is SafeRacks only obligation. SafeRacks and Smart Space, LLC-Authorized SafeRacks Dealer is not responsible for any other special, consequential (Including substrate failure) or incidental damages resulting from the purchase or installation of the unit, regardless of cause. Liability for any such losses (including, but not limited to, financial loss, or loss of facilities use) regardless of cause or for breach of implied warranty is expressly disclaimed and excluded herein. Upon signing or initialing this form customer agrees that he/she is requesting this installation solely for personal use and will not divulge any installation techniques, secrets, or product information to any other person for any reason. Please consult your state’s laws regarding warranties. You may have rights in addition to the Limited Warranty.
